Matariki fort day

Matariki fort day

In room 2 we decided to build forts as it links to matariki by coming together, sharing food, singing waiatas and remembering the people that have passed. also sharing stories and playing with family and friends.

How to build a fort in school

First organize where your fort is going be, for example a bookshelf or under a table. The equipment

You’re going to need heavy books to hold down the blanket that is sheltering you. Put comfy stuff in your base like snacks, pillows, and blankets.

the experience

It was probably the biggest base i’ve ever made

Because students in my class brought pillows from the library and also stuff from home like chips, pillows, sheets, blankets and oodies. It was so fun having heaps of snacks and telling stories. My favorite part was building the fort. Because it was fun working together with people I don’t usually work with.

should zoo’s be banned

I would say no because of these reasons

1. we would possibly be able to see animals we don’t normally see around

2. its fun to play hide and seek around the zoo

3. there are lots of fun activities that you can try

4. there is a playground with a massive dragon you might even think it look real

matariki

homwork is terrible by Hemi

It’s outrageous that my teacher thinks we should get homework. Your brain gets tired and crazy after 6 hours of school from 8:45 to 2:45. I want to spend time with friends and family out of school. I strongly believe we should not have homework  for these reasons:

  1. I play basketball on wednesday in the morning when it’s time for school I can’t focus!
  2. It can take hours for homework to be finished so it is tiring
  3. I want to play videogames and have a rest for once!

That’s why I strongly believe kids should not get homework.

my holiday by hemi

during the school holiday me and my family went to snowplanet when we got there they gave us gear to put on.
Once we were all geared up we went to snowboard but my dad went skiing
On my first time down the hill I went on a ramp and almost tripped. After that me and my sister had a break and ate burger king. Then unexpectedly someone gave me a prime bottle which is very rare to get in new Zealand. It tasted like lemon mixed with sour lollies.

The majestic castle

The majestic castle

One day three knights by the names robin kai and trevor lived in a forest filled with magic. They lived in the biggest tree in the woods. when they spotted a witch in the forest coming towards their house.

They had to think

fast but the witch spotted the knight’s house. But luckily robin spotted the witch and said to his brothers in a hurry we will leave through the back door, get on our horses and flee. In an hour they found a clearing and they stopped to

Have lunch on a hill. Robin and Kai had lunch while trevor was riding his horse shortly after the brothers had lunch trevor said that he had seen a castle

in the distance after the brothers packed up their lunch they headed

For the castle once they arrived they knocked on the front gate

So one of the knights said let’s circle the castle because in the castle Kai found a gap. But they found out there were giant spiders and witches in the castle so they quickly got out and ran into a different forest where they could call home and made an underground base.
